Dear Parents and Friends,

 

It is with great pleasure and excitement that I introduce myself to you as the principal of Salida del Sol. Salida del Sol is home to over 710 happy, eager and energetic roadrunners. We are an elementary school with pre-kindergarten through sixth-grade students. We have a wonderful staff that works hard with our students and is committed to providing each student with high-quality instruction to help ensure that each child achieves the Arizona Standards. We are sensitive to the needs of all of our students and dedicated to giving them our best effort.

 

We provide all-day kindergarten classes because we realize how important that time is for young students. We are very excited about the academic impact that it has on our students.

 

We have an active PTO and believe that parent involvement is essential to a child’s educational success. We encourage all our families to participate in our monthly activities and welcome parent volunteers in our classrooms and on our campus. Please talk to your child's teacher or the front office for volunteer opportunities.
